DRAMATURGY

Sarah is passionate about supporting the development of new work. She is able to create bespoke programmes to best support an artist develop their work at any stage. With her background in devised theatre and her experience working in new writing as well as opera and dance, Sarah is skilled at a wide range of forms and performance. Sarah is an experienced script reader and editor. She has extensive experience in workshopping new texts and directed rehearsed readings for Dublin Theatre Festival, Galway Arts Festival, Druid Theatre, Fighting Words, Arts Disability Ireland and more.

TEACHING // WORKSHOPS

Sarah has many years experience in teaching, and devising and facilitating workshops. She frequently does workshops for Irish National Opera, Druid Theatre and Dublin Youth Theatre. She has also given workshops for Google, VISUAL Carlow and the Ark. She can lead workshops in acting, ensemble play, mask, theatre craft and more. Sarah enjoys and has experience working with professionals, community groups, school groups and for individuals with additional needs.

She teaches regularly at The Lir - National Academy of Dramatic Art. She has taught on the acting and musical theatre short courses, summer academy, as well as being guest tutor on the BA course. She directed The Suppliant Women by David Grieg for the Actors Ensemble at The Lir Academy.
